As 2023 comes to an end, now is the time to look back and reflect on your year so far. What did you accomplish that you set out to do? What didn’t you do that you wish you had done? Regardless, look back and evaluate your year.

  4. What were the biggest challenges I faced, and how did I overcome them?
    • Recall the hurdles you encountered and how you dealt with them.
  5. What am I most grateful for this year?
    • Identify people, experiences, or things that brought gratitude.
  6. How have my relationships evolved over the year?
    • Consider both personal and professional connections.
  7. What new skills or knowledge did I acquire?
    • Think about any courses, hobbies, or self-taught skills you picked up.
  8. How did I contribute to my community or to causes I care about?
    • Reflect on your social and community involvement.
  9. What did I do for my physical and mental well-being this year?
    • Assess your health and wellness practices.
  10. How have my goals and aspirations evolved throughout the year?
    • Consider changes in your ambitions and dreams.
  11. What was the most enjoyable part of my year?
    • Recall moments of joy and satisfaction.
  12. How did I balance work, life, and personal interests?
    • Evaluate your work-life balance.
  13. What habits would I like to start, stop, or continue next year?
    • Think about lifestyle changes for the upcoming year.
  14. Where did I spend my time and energy, and was it well spent?
    • Reflect on time management and priorities.

    • Set intentions for what you want to focus on next year.

Planning for a Successful Year Ahead.

After answering these questions, you will have a pretty good understanding of how the year went for you.

Now, take what you wish you would have done better and incorporate it into your goals for the coming year.

Also, take into account what you did and accomplished this year that you are proud of, and work on improving it in the next year, but in a more casual manner and focusing on areas where you can still improve.
